A Redding woman who organized a local holiday toy drive has been arrested for embezzlement, but the charges are unrelated to the charity event. Canduce Marie Green, who’s also known as Candi Wiley, organized “Santa’s Special Delivery Toy Drive” after the disbanding of “Toys for Tots” last year. Green was arrested Wednesday and booked for embezzlement, grand theft and 12 counts of check forgery. She allegedly stole $150,000 from Dustin Caleb White of Burney, the owner of Norcal Forest Resources Incorporated. Green apparently worked for White as a bookkeeper in 2024. She’s been released on $50,000 bail.
