An enormous shipment of drugs was caught while heading north on Interstate 5 Friday morning. At 7:30AM a CHP Officer stopped a car driven by 26-year-old Rion Hendrix Scovil for a traffic violation near Dog Creek Road north of Lakehead. Officers searched and reported finding 50 Pounds of Methamphetamine, 5 Pounds of Fentanyl and 2 Pounds of Cocaine. The Shasta Interagency Narcotics Task Force was called to take over the investigation. Scovil was booked into jail on $2 Million bail.
