Redding Fire Department responded to two separate structure fires overnight Thursday night into Friday morning.
At 9:30PM Thursday RFD crews were called to a structure fire at an address they’ve visited in the past on Alee Lane, a dirt road off Oasis Road just east of the railroad tracks. They found a trailer ablaze, with flames spreading to an outbuilding and about an eighth of an acre of vegetation. It was contained within 20 minutes with 3 hours for mop up.
At 3 O’clock Friday morning Redding Fire was called to a house on Neptune Terrace for a fire in the garage. Light smoke was showing when firefighters arrived and they held the fire to a small area.
