Trial Date Set For Former RPD Corporal After 2020 Raid On Warehouse Full Of Cannabis

A trial date has been set for a former Redding Police Corporal charged in connection to warehouse full of cannabis. 54-year-old Corporal Will Williams was among 3 people arrested after a search warrant was served at a warehouse on Crossroads Drive near Old 44 Drive in April of 2020. A tip to the CHP Northern Division led investigators to begin surveillance of the warehouse. During the search authorities reported finding 138 Pounds of processed marijuana bud, 332 growing marijuana plants, 30 grams of Cocaine and $59,000 in cash. Williams and his wife, Heather Legault-Williams, are being tried along with Heather Hart. Unless a settlement is made, a jury trial is set to begin March 19th. Williams had been a Redding Police Officer for 18 years.
