There was a mess on the freeway in Anderson for a while Sunday night. Shortly before 6 O’clock on Northbound I-5 near the Deschutes Exit, a Toyota Matrix slid on the wet asphalt and flipped over onto its roof. All three occupants suffered major injuries and two of them were trapped, so they had to be extricated by rescue personnel. The crash left a lot of debris in the roadway, causing at least one additional collision.
