Update: 2 Anderson Men Arrested During Multi-Agency Sweep Targeting Child Predators

A large sweep of suspected child predators that resulted in three arrests already reported by the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office also led to two arrests by the Anderson Police Department. Of the 37 warrants served across Northern California, one of them was at the Anderson home of James Schwede and Scott Hemme. They had been identified in a cyber tip in March concerning the uploading of child pornography. During the search, detectives seized several electronic devices, including cell phones and computers. Both men were booked into jail.
