It’s important to avoid heat stroke by drinking plenty of water, wearing light clothing, scheduling outdoor activities carefully and moving at a healthy pace. Some signs of heat stroke include altered mental state, red hot dry skin, rapid pulse, throbbing headache and confusion or unconsciousness.
