The body of an apparent drowning victim has been recovered from Ruth Lake in Trinity County. Search and rescue personnel, Trinity County Sheriff’s Officials and the Coast Guard apparently found the body on Sunday after a boat capsized Friday night. Two of the boat’s occupants made it to shore but 25-year-old Dylan Malcome Harley Asbury of Cottonwood began struggling, went under, and did not resurface. A Gofundme account has been set up to help Asbury’s family with funeral expenses.
