Update: Caregiver Accused Of Murdering Elderly Man Pleads Not Guilty

A 28-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to murdering a Shingletown man he was supposed to be caring for. 87-year-old Thomas Anthony Cuneo was found dead by multiple stab wounds when deputies went to his house to check on his welfare June 5th. Cuneo’s car was missing along with his live-in caregiver, Jordan Newton Moore, who was later arrested in Monterey County. He entered his plea during arraignment last week. He’s being held without bail, and returns to court July 14th.
