Update: Crews Gain 75% Containment On The 3-1 Pit Fire

The 3-1 Pit Fire in Lassen County near the Shasta County line has not grown. It’s still 1,055 acres and is 75% contained.

A little to the east of that three fires broke out on Saturday south of Bieber. They burned together to form the Loomis Fire, which is 656 acres and 10% contained. Evacuation orders have been downgraded to warnings.

Another fire that started in that area Saturday is the Lumbee Fire. It started as two fires and merged. It’s 101 acres and 25% contained. Evacuation warnings remain in effect.

A fire that was burning in steep terrain north of Hoopa has been contained at 104 acres.
