Donations are being sought for the family of a young girl who suffered critical injuries when she was attacked by multiple dogs in Corning last month. Tehama County Deputies were called on June 7th to the area of Barham and Bosque Avenues. 7-year-old Patricia lives in the neighborhood, but the pack of dogs apparently do not belong to her family. The Corning Elementary School Student suffered injuries to her scalp and legs. After being transported to a local hospital, she was transferred to UC Davis for emergency surgery and to prepare her for a lengthy recovery process. Her family has been at her bedside during recovery, and a fundraiser to help recoup their costs is organized on gofundme.com. Deputies talked to many witnesses and seized six dogs. They’re being held at the Tehama County Animal Shelter as the investigation proceeds.
