The Shasta County Elections Office says they’ve received 50,700 ballots so far. The latest count was updated Sunday. It shows Joanna Francescut’s lead widening slightly, now with 58% of the vote over Clint Curtis’s 42% in their race for Clerk and Registrar of Voters. In the Board of Supervisors District One race, Erin Resner has 55%, still well ahead of incumbent Kevin Crye with 38%. The incumbent is also behind in the District 5 race, with Mike Gallagher ahead of Chris Kelstrom by 49% to 41%. Approval of the election reform initiative Measure B currently leads by 55% to 45%.
