An estimated 500 to 800 people turned out Saturday morning for a “No Kings” demonstration on Cypress Avenue in front of Redding City Hall. Similar rallies were held in hundreds of cities across the country. Redding’s peaceful gathering featured many mostly hand-made signs protesting trump administration actions and policies. Activists are encouraging voters to return ballots early to reduce the chance of officials tampering with the election.
