A Palo Cedro based girls softball team had a grand welcome home Sunday after an amazing run as world-class athletes. The Foothil Area Little League Team won 20 straight games against the best competitors anywhere. That winning streak ended Saturday with the final World Series Championship, which was won 6 to 4 by the team representing the Southeast. Sunday afternoon the girls flew into Redding Airport and got a police escort Downtown, where a party was held for them.
