The Shasta County Board of Supervisors has approved a grant of $1.9 Million from opioid settlement funds to an organization that wants to build a youth behavioral health campus in Anderson. The Family Dynamic Resource Center was already awarded nearly $25 Million from the state, but needed some matching funds to get the award. Supervisor Allen Long said he had too many unanswered questions about the facility’s lack of security, but the rest of the board was convinced and the funding passed by a 4 to 1 vote, pending discussions with law enforcement.
