Three of the five positions on the Redding City Council will be on this November’s ballot. Council Member Erin Resner has been elected to the Shasta County Board of Supervisors, so her council seat is available. Two other incumbents, Jack Munns and Tenessa Audette, have said they will run for re-election. Also on the ballot will be Redding Planning Commissioner Russ Wenham and business owner Christina Prosperi. Both Wenham and Prosperi are former employees of Caltrans. Potential candidates will be meeting with the City Clerk starting next week and nomination papers need to be filed by August 7th, though that’s extended to the 12th if any incumbent misses the first deadline.
