A huge Methamphetamine bust on October 22nd has just been reported by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Department. A Sergeant in North Yreka saw a Chevy Suburban being driven erratically during a heavy rainstorm and pulled it over. He said he noticed a small bag of crystal substance on the center console, so he searched. After reportedly finding a large box in the back seat full of vacuum sealed bags of the same substance, he called drug agents. They said the box contained nearly 100 Pounds of Methamphetamine. The driver, 44-year-old Juan Collado Penazola of Washington State, allegedly said he had made multiple trips from Bakersfield to deliver drugs.
