Management of Waterworks Park has released a statement that says an incident there was based on a misunderstanding. Social media has been abuzz with reports that a man was taking photos of children with his cell phone for inappropriate reasons. A mother who was there confronted the man and struck him, causing security to get involved. After a review of surveillance footage the man handed over his phone voluntarily and apparently no inappropriate photos were found on it. Management says all the people involved were satisfied, but they’re concerned about repercussions after seeing the extreme comments online.
