Weaverville Ranger District Fire Engine Deployed To Help Fight Massive Blaze In Oregon

Firefighters from all over the Western United States have deployed to Oregon and Washington to help with the massive infernos burning in those states, many of them with barely any containment. Some Shasta-Trinity National Forest crews have been sent, including an engine from the Weaverville Ranger District, which is assigned to the 442,000 acre “Big Grass Fire” on the border of Oregon and Idaho. That’s just one of dozens of fires tearing through the expansive green forests of the Pacific Northwest.
