A lot of weed has been seized in the Town of Weed. On Saturday police in the Siskiyou County town made a traffic stop on a vehicle. They say they had probable cause for a search and found 150 Pounds of processed cannabis bud, along with $4,000 cash. The driver was booked into jail. The Weed Police Department says they’ve seized around 250 Pounds of processed cannabis during traffic stops in the past two weeks. It’s believed that all of it was bound for customers out of the county and in some cases out of the state.
