Michelea Ponce, the Chico healthcare worker who posted a viral Titok video of herself confronting an elderly Target employee in December because she was wearing a Charlie Kirk freedom shirt has apparently been fired from her job at Enloe Medical Center. Ponce shared on GoFundMe that she lost her job for expressing her personal views outside of work hours and on her own time. A similar fund to benefit the Target employee has raised over $10,000. Ponce is now seeking financial help on the platform to help cover basic needs for her children, claiming that her actions are protected by the First Amendment. Officials at Enloe have said they are unable to comment on personnel issues.
