Someone was apparently burned in a fire at a homeless camp in West Redding. Redding Fire Personnel and medical aid were called shortly after Midnight Sunday morning to Linden Canyon off West Street at the base of the hill next to Mercy Medical Center. An unidentified woman had been laying down next to a campfire when her clothing caught fire and she became partially engulfed in flames. She was hospitalized with serious burns, mostly on her legs and feet.
