A Cottonwood man who’s been repeatedly busted with drugs has been arrested again. 52-year-old Ryan Lamar Montgomery was arrested 3 times in January, once for having Cannabis for sale and guns, another time for having 10 Ounces of Meth and another time for having almost 5 Pounds of Meth. He was arrested again in March, allegedly with another 10 Ounces of Meth. Montgomery was pulled over in Redding by a sheriff’s deputy at 12:40PM Monday. Ace the K9 sniffed around and gave the signal, so a search was done. The Sheriff’s Office says they only found paraphernalia but because of the prior arrests he was taken to jail, where he reportedly admitted to having what turned out to be a Half Ounce of Meth and numerous prescription drugs hidden in the groin area of his pants. A warrant was then served at Montgomery’s home on Pleasant Court in Cottonwood, where more than a Pound of Meth was allegedly found, as well as ammunition.
